Article Processing Charges

Papua Medicine and Health Science (PMHS) sets the publication fees for each article submitted through the journal’s publishing system. The details of the charges are as follows:

• Article Submission: IDR 0.00

• Article Processing Charges (APCs): IDR 0.00

• Accepted Article: IDR 100,000

Authors of accepted articles are expected to promptly complete the payment administration to ensure the smooth publication of their manuscript in the upcoming edition.

Waiver and Discount Policy
In general, Papua Medicine and Health Science (PMHS) does not provide waivers or discounts for publication fees. All accepted manuscripts are subject to the standard publication fee as stated above.

However, the Editorial Board may grant a full waiver (free of charge) in the following cases:

• Authors affiliated with institutions located in under-resourced regions or developing countries.

• Students (undergraduate or postgraduate) who submit manuscripts derived from their thesis/dissertation and are affiliated with institutions that have limited resources.

• Special cases based on the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Requests for a waiver must be submitted in writing at the time of article submission, accompanied by a clear justification. The decision of the Editorial Board is final and cannot be appealed.
